Genevieve & Iain
When Holly and Rhi from The Revelry (the most amazing planners by the way) got in touch with me to quote for a wedding in early September, and the theme was tartan I full on squealed. I have Scottish roots, and I was dreaming of heather runways, highlands arches- I needed to reign in my slightly out-there ideas, and I got the role as florist with my bespoke proposal.
Gen, the most wonderful bride, and I collaborated on bringing in the seasonal stems that reminded her of hers and Iain’s love story, and we designed with them and the seasons in mind. She loved hydrangeas, roses, dahlias and was happy to work totally seasonally as long as we introduced thistles for the nod to the north. At Battersea Art Centre, we designed the most wonderful backdrop, adorned the aisles with hops, berried ivy and pillar candles and scattered stunning rose hips, delphinium, Didiscus, roses, scabious and thistles along the dining tables where hundreds of guests whooped and cheered for their incredible union.
